Coronavirus Pandemic

The Foundation has been supportive of the less vulnerable in society. About 800 bars of Guardian carbolic soap were donated to the people of Ofei Yaw, a town close to Adeiso in the Eastern Region of Ghana – one of the Foundation’s sponsored communities – for emergency relief and to encourage handwashing. Guardian Carbolic Soap, a product of Unilever Ghana, was chosen because the soap is a mild disinfectant and its anti-bacterial properties make it a great cleanser for skin issues such as acne, eczema, or psoriasis. It also removes dirt, oil, and dead cells from one’s skin. Additionally, the Foundation had a professional and interactive dialogue with the people of the town on the disease and how to abide by the WHO protocols of social distancing, hand washing, staying at home when possible, and wearing a face mask when going out. The Foundation also fed over 1000 vulnerable people through the Ghana COVID-19 Fund.
