Construction of a Borehole and Eight Seater Biofil Toilet

In 2018, the Foundation constructed a very modern eight (8) Seater biofil toilet facility for the town. The Foundation has empowered the community to maintain the facility by sustaining it through a token contribution by the community. For every use, a token fee is paid which is used to renumerate the cleaner and maintain the facility.

The Foundation believes that in helping others, you help yourself. Realizing the water situation in Offei Yaw in the Eastern Region of Ghana, the Foundation constructed a borehole for the community to provide good drinking water in July 2017. According to the people in the town, this is the only development they have had since Independence, besides electricity which was passing through their town to another village that they got connected to but wasn’t principally meant for them.
