| Kwaaba Foundation attends Annual Asian Association of Transfusion Medicine in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. https://mailchi.mp/67873d96b3d4/dua-pa-quarterly-4th-quarter-10333049 In December, the Kwaaba Foundation was represented at the XVIIth Annual Asian Association of Transfusion Medicine (AATM) Congress held at Sea Pearl Beach resort in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, with about 350 delegates in attendance. It was organized by AATM and Blood Transfusion Society of Bangladesh (BTSB) on the theme – Transfusion Medicine – New Vision, New Scope, New Challenge in Medical Science.” AATM currently consists of 23 countries and covers 3 WHO regions – South-East Asian Region (SEAR), Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR) and Western Pacific Region (WPR). The conference was a platform to express opinions and ideas, fill knowledge gaps, and promote innovations and guidelines to enhance patient friendly transfusion practice, leading to better patient care. |
