On the 30th of September 2021, Kwaaba Foundation signed an MOU with National Blood Service, Ghana at their headquarters. This milestone forms the foundation for a successful implementation of the Blood Donation Tracker App, which was launched earlier this year.
The use application will commence at the beginning of the school year in January 2022.
The Blood Donation Tracker App will be used to collect blood donation data from Senior High Schools. The data will be visualized and used to promote voluntary blood donations in Ghana.
The National Blood Service is committed to any form of meaningful innovation that helps us achieve universal access to safe blood and blood products.
